The Rivers State Counselling Association of Nigeria (RIVCASSAN) is a professional body dedicated to advancing the practice and development of counseling in Rivers State, Nigeria. The association is part of the larger Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), which serves as the umbrella organization for counseling practitioners across the country.<\/p>

RIVCASSAN <\/span>was founded with the aim of promoting the professional growth of counselors, ensuring the provision of effective counseling services, and advocating for the recognition of counseling as a vital component in mental health, education, and social development. <\/span><\/p><\/p>

The association works to enhance the skills of its members through training, workshops, and conferences, while also engaging in advocacy for counseling standards and ethics.<\/p>

Over the years, (RIVCASSAN)<\/span>has played an important role in addressing the mental health and well-being of individuals and communities within Rivers State. The association is committed to improving the quality of life through counseling services that support personal, academic, and professional development.<\/p>

Through its initiatives, (RIVCASSAN)<\/span> has contributed to the growing recognition of counseling as a profession in Nigeria, helping to shape policies and practices that support the mental health needs of the population.
