Dr. Igwe Ijeoma Mirabel is a distinguished counselling psychologist, educator, and social advocate dedicated to shaping lives through education, mentorship, and psychological support. As a passionate scholar and practitioner, she seamlessly integrates academic excellence with real-world impact, making a profound difference in individual and community well-being.
Her academic journey reflects her deep commitment to learning and human development. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Educational Psychology, Guidance, and Counselling, equipping her with the expertise to address a broad spectrum of emotional and social challenges. She further expanded her knowledge with a certification in Social Work and Rehabilitation from the Rivers State College of Health, reinforcing her ability to support individuals in crisis.
Dr. Igwe’s professional engagements are vast and impactful. She serves as a part-time lecturer at the Centre for Continuing Education, St. John’s Campus, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, and Alaligo Educational Consult. She is the coordinator of both the African College of Crisis Management and Peacebuilding (ACCMP) and the Rivers State Student Counselling Association of Nigeria (RIVSCASSON), where she plays a key role in mentoring students and shaping the future of counselling and peacebuilding in Nigeria.
Additionally, she is an esteemed member of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (MCASSON) and a Fellow of the Institute for Crisis Resolution, Peacebuilding, and Conciliation (FICRPC). Through her leadership at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Cell (IAUE Cell), she advances best practices in counselling and psychological support.
Beyond academia, Dr. Igwe Ijeoma Mirabel, is the Director of MIRADON Integrated Resources Limited, a counselling and consultancy firm dedicated to personal and organizational development.
Through MIRADON, she provides tailored guidance that empowers individuals to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve personal and professional growth.
