The title of Professional Fellow is awarded to distinguished members who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the counseling profession and the effective functioning of the Association. Fellows represent the senior membership of the Association. To qualify for this prestigious recognition, a member must meet the following criteria:
Demonstrated active participation by attending the Association's Conference for four or five consecutive years without absence.
Fulfilled all outstanding financial obligations to the Association.
Maintains an active membership status in their respective State CASSON chapter.
Previously held an elective position at the State level. Eligible members must be nominated and, upon approval by the Joint Board of the Executive Committee and Fellows, the nomination will be ratified by the National Delegates Congress (NDC) or the General Congress before the conferment of the Professional Fellowship .
